As the home of Great Lakes Naval Training Station, we’ve been welcoming sailors, soldiers and airmen to Lake County, Illinois for nearly a century. Support today’s service men and women by attending a graduation at Naval Station Great Lakes. Ceremonies are held almost every Friday year around. See the rare collection of over 300 military vehicles and weaponry at the Russell Military Museum. Enjoy a dinner theatre performance at the highly acclaimed Marriott Lincolnshire or take in a show at the magnificently restored Genesee Theatre. Take a day trip to downtown Chicago. It is easily accessible by car or train, where you can enjoy a fascinating architectural tour and river cruise and other engaging cultural activities. Lake County offers so much to see and do!
